It's often said that hundreds of thousands of dollars are wasted each year on "Team building."
Sure, it's nice to take the team off to a smart resort, hopefully near a vineyard or three, have a scavenger hunt, car rally and a boozy costumed Karaoke night. They work well and yes we've been involved in plenty of them.
But to really get your monies worth, you've got to dig a bit deeper than that and answer the questions posed above.
Over the last few years I've seen a significant shift in Corporate Thinking on Team building and we have expanded and developed our own business to match that.
Companies are wanting to come away from Team Retreats with new skills, clearer vision and an understanding of the nature of their teams, rather than just a feeling of "that was a great time."
